GARLIC (Allium sativum):

Not an ideal ingredient in tea, but extremely essential.  Garlic boosts the function of the immune system; making it great for combatting sickness such as a cold or flu.  It can fight infection due to its antibacterial and antifungal properties from the Allicin, a compound within garlic.  It can reduce high blood pressure, and can also serve as a stress reliever. However, this bulb is not recommended for people with LUPUS as the garlic will rev-up your immune system and will be counterproductive.

 

(GREEN) ROOIBOS:

Green Rooibos, an unfermented herb from South Africa, is high in antioxidants and helps reduce inflammation. It is very similar in taste to green tea. It contains natural alpha hydroxy acid, a main ingredient in skin treatment products to reduce wrinkles. It contains zinc which can be used to treat eczema and other skin conditions! Last but not least, it works as an antihistamine and can help prevent allergies from triggering.


GINGER:

This root is extremely beneficial for your health. Benefits are: Reduced inflammation, improved digestion, and strengthened immunity due to it’s high levels of antioxidants. It’s calming properties may also help lower stress.


LEMON BALM

This dried herb functions as a natural antibacterial agent.  It’s anti - inflammatory and antioxidant properties promote calming , soothing , healing and tightening for the skin.


TURMERIC:

It relieves many inflammatory conditions, including eczema.Scientific claims have supported its medical properties as well as its benefits of helping to prevent and treat cancer.
